In addition to being a medical doctor, Dr. Greig Coates is also an accomplished trial lawyer who has been a litigator for over thirty years. He has spent the last twenty-five years practicing exclusively in New Mexico. In fact, our law firm is the only law firm in our state with a medical doctor and lawyer who litigates only in our state.

Dr. Coates selects the cases our firm prosecutes, and he will depose virtually all of the defendant doctors and other healthcare providers in your lawsuit. He will be actively involved in the litigation of your claim from start to finish, through trial should that be necessary. Dr. Coates’ partner is Chris Johnson. Chris also has formidable experience, being a seasoned and successful trial lawyer with over 25 years of litigation experience. He has tried dozens of cases as a lead trial attorney, with many of those being multi-week jury trials across New Mexico.
